Senior Accountant

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join a dynamic, chartered accountancy practice in Kent. This firm is experiencing growth and offers excellent future progression prospects. As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for a hands-on, client-facing role, maintaining a good work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Prepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment dates.
- Manage bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier management, and financial reporting.
- Proactively liaise with clients to obtain relevant information, ensuring attention to detail.
- Monitor job quality and quantity, meeting targets and exceeding where possible.
- Support trainees with on-the-job coaching.
- Assist clients with financial software and other queries as required.
- ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- IT literate, preferably with knowledge of Iris, Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000, negotiable.
- 25 days annual leave + 8 days for bank holidays.
