Finance Analyst

This globally recognised brand is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to contribute to their expanding finance team. As a vital member of our finance department, you will play a key role in driving profitable growth and ensuring the long-term financial success of the organisation. Your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and provide valuable financial insights will be critical in helping them make informed business decisions and achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Complex Financial Modelling in Excel: Develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Lead on Reporting Development using PowerBI: Lead the development of reports using PowerBI to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Assist in Business Planning Process: Assist in the development of business plans and strategies to drive profitable growth.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyse variances in financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Market Analysis / Benchmarking: Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
  • Support Finance Team during Month End Process: Provide support to the finance team during the month-end process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Part Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or Equivalent): Hold a part-qualified accounting qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision: Be able to work with minimal supervision, using own initiative and judgment to deliver outputs to agreed deadlines.
  • Practical Experience of PowerBI: Have practical experience of using PowerBI to develop reports and provide insights.
  • Advanced Excel: Have advanced skills in Excel to develop and maintain complex financial models.
