The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an ambitious ESG Assurance Director to lead our growing ESG team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-value ESG assurance and advisory services to a wide range of mid-market private and listed companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ESG assurance team through an exciting period of growth and expansion
- Be the subject matter expert across the firm of changes to sustainability/ESG regulations and reporting requirements
- Originating and developing pipeline of prospects
- Ensuring teams practices and service offerings are compliant with assurance standards
- Partnering with board-level executives on complex ESG issues, negotiating and influencing where required
- Utilising your understanding of ESG and market insights on trends and technology to identify how to maximise client coverage and opportunities
- Maintaining quality of engagements, with a key focus on improvement and feedback
- Motivating and encouraging team, providing timely constructive feedback
Requirements:
- Experience leading non-audit assurance teams specialising in ESG
- Experience of designing and implementing non-audit assurance work programmes
- Comfortable delivering ESG advisory projects (Double materiality assessments, Gap analysis, maturity Assessments etc.)
- High level of familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards (ISSB, CSRD, etc.)
- Ideally qualified ACA
