ESG Assurance Director Opportunity

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced ESG Assurance Director to join our team. As a key member of our ESG team, you will be responsible for providing high-value non-audit ESG assurance and advisory services to mid-market private and listed companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to sustainability/ESG regulations and reporting requirements, providing expert guidance to clients.
  • Develop and originate a pipeline of prospects, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Ensure our teams' practices and service offerings are compliant with assurance standards.
  • Partner with board-level executives on complex ESG issues, negotiating and influencing where required.
  • Utilize your understanding of ESG and market insights to identify opportunities for client growth and expansion.
  • Maintain the quality of engagements, focusing on improvement and feedback.
  • Motivate and encourage the ESG assurance team, providing timely constructive feedback.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading non-audit assurance teams specializing in ESG.
  • Experience designing and implementing non-audit assurance work programs.
  • Comfortable delivering ESG advisory projects, including double materiality assessments, gap analysis, and maturity assessments.
  • Ideal candidate will be qualified ACA.
