Job Description

At Michaels, we're looking for a skilled Cashier to join our team in Warrington. As a Cashier, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with purchases, answer questions, and provide product information.
  • Operate a cash register, handle cash, credit card transactions, and process returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store appearance.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
