The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at our Golborne based customer.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled driver to operate a curtain sided vehicle, performing trunking and trailer swaps at various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a curtain sided vehicle for trunking and trailer swaps
  • Work a typical shift from 17:00 Monday to Friday, with weekend work available
  • Meet the requirements for PAYE, including a minimum of two years HGV1 experience and no more than 6 points for minor offences
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £16.00 Monday to Friday Nights, £16.75 Saturday, and £18.75 Sunday and Bank Holidays
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
