Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our Grounds Maintenance team on a seasonal basis. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our parks, open spaces, and green areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planting, pruning, and seeding of plants and flowers
  • Hedge trimming and grass cutting
  • Strimming, leaf blowing, and raking
  • Setting out and marking sports areas
  • Upkeep of pitches (artificial and natural)
  • Propagation and nursery care of plants
  • Site preparation
  • Manual litter picking and sweeping
  • Emptying litter and recycling bins, and replacing liners
  • Using electronic mobile devices to record work and log any issues
  • Resolving any complaints as directed by managers
Working Environment

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be based at one of our depots in Royal Victoria Park, Bath, Station Road, Keynsham, or Radstock Road.
