Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Project Manager to join our team in Manchester.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading UK-based temporary site service company that emphasizes using carbon-neutral building solutions. As a Senior Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for taking ownership of all commercial matters in our Manchester depot, including commercially reviewing contracts and conducting thorough contract reviews.

Main Responsibilities
  • Taking responsibility for all commercial matters in our Manchester depot, ensuring contractual agreements are adhered to through regular auditing or reporting/monitoring tools.
  • Commercially reviewing all contracts and conducting thorough contract reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Involvement in all aspects of financial and contractual control of assigned projects, including preparing monthly forecasts and budgets and certifying payment applications from subcontractors.
  • Assisting in the Tender Process in relation to commercial matters, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tenders.
  • Early Warning and Compensation Event management in accordance with contract conditions, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues that may arise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent knowledge of the construction industry and commercial awareness, business acumen, and effective negotiation skills.
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager is required, preferably in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong communication skills with clients and main contractors, showing the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
