Key Responsibilities- Payroll Production: Process monthly and weekly payrolls using Workday, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with the company's policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Pensions Administration: Manage pensions automatic enrolment, ensuring all employees are enrolled correctly.
- New Hire and Termination Processing: Process new hires and terminations, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Absence Management: Process absences, including SSP, SAP, SMP, SPP, and ShPP.
- Exception Reporting: Review exception reporting to identify anomalies and take corrective action.
- Liaison and Communication: Effectively liaise with HR Administrators, Line Managers, Regional Finance, internal and external third-party benefits providers, and HMRC.
- Query Resolution: Answer pay and related queries from staff, HMRC, and other relevant bodies.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume payroll processing environment.
- Software Skills: Experience in using Workday payroll software is essential.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SAP, and other relevant payroll regulations.
- Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of MS products, such as Excel and Word.
