This client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Officer to join their team.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly and weekly payrolls using workdays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle pensions automatic enrolment.
- Manage absences including SSP, SAP, SMP, SPP, ShPP.
- Liaise effectively with HR, line managers, finance, benefits administrators, external providers, and HMRC.
- Assist in reporting annual ONS data.
- Provide accurate and timely payroll services.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume payroll processing.
- In-depth knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SAP.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of pensions auto-enrolment legislation.
- Recent experience with Workday payroll system is ideal
