We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital, providing high-quality patient care in an acute surgical setting. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a supportive environment.

Job Description

This role involves undertaking acute nursing care in accordance with legislation, delivering evidence-based nursing care, and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team. You will also be responsible for ensuring patient and staff safety, supervising and directing nursing team members, and completing required documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, current valid Australian Work rights, and a minimum of 2 years' relevant post-registration qualifications. Demonstrated experience working within an acute surgical setting and exposure to Vascular/Cardiac nursing would be highly regarded.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $69,000 per annum, based on the current nursing Enterprise Agreement. As a Category A Healthcare worker, you will also be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases.
