About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Advisor/Paralegal to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations and providing expert legal advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare a variety of commercial agreements, including bespoke and industry-standard contracts.
  • Manage legacy litigation claims and work closely with external lawyers to assess legal issues.
  • Offer legal guidance and advice to our management team and coordinate with external lawyers as needed.
  • Conduct legal research and monitor the regulatory landscape to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing regulatory compliance requirements for our group.
  • Assist in the development and roll-out of legal training to our business.
Requirements
  • Strong academic background, with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in law or a related field.
  • Completion of the LPC or training contract is preferred.
  • Initial work experience in an international or national law firm or in-house is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing litigation claims with outside counsel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with a solutions-oriented and commercial approach to decision-making.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal clients, external counsel, and the global Legal Team.
  • Work experience in a previous in-house role, dealing with complex matters with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with property and commercial law and/or the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of a second language (French, Italian, Greek, German).
