Job Summary

As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will play a key role in driving performance improvements across manufacturing processes, supporting the profitable development of Manufacturing Operations in Wigan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Quality & Process Improvement Manager to set clear goals and objectives aligned with global and regional strategies.
  • Identify and resolve problems to improve product yield, quality, and process control, ultimately driving improved financial performance.
  • Continuously review existing processes and manufacturing methods to identify and implement equipment and process changes, ensuring consistency with Milliken's quality standards.
  • Oversee capital projects, ensuring timely implementation within budget and scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project and operational KPIs.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and product re-engineering, ensuring smooth and timely implementation.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in office, project, and drawing applications.
  • Ability to use initiative to make decisions impacting the business.
  • Analytical skills to monitor trends.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Proactive approach to driving improvements.
