About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary up to £55,000 + 9% pension and 7 x Life Insurance. The successful candidate will work 4 on 4 off days and nights, contributing to the maintenance of all plant & facility assets and associated infrastructure.

Job Summary:

Due to increased workload and an ongoing plant expansion project, we require experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers to support our operations in Wigan. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of fast-paced industrial machinery through PPM and Reactive Maintenance
  • Electrical Breakdowns and Repairs
  • PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects and installations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Experience working within a continuous process or production facility
  • Familiarity with CMMS software applications
  • In-depth knowledge of preventative, predictive, and lifecycle maintenance activities
  • Strong PLC understanding
