We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our team at an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive school serving the local community. With a strong commitment to academic excellence, we aim to provide a supportive environment that fosters growth and development.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History to students across various age groups, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and enthusiasm for the subject. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a creative approach to teaching, and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History to GCSE and A-Level students
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Mentor and support colleagues in the History department
  • Collaborate with teachers from other departments to ensure comprehensive student understanding

Requirements:

  • Degree in History or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience of teaching History in a secondary setting
  • Strong ICT skills and ability to utilize digital tools effectively

Salary and Benefits:
