We are looking for an experienced and dynamic History Teacher to join our team at an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive school serving the local community. As a key member of our History department, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to our school's mission of academic excellence.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic History teacher to take on a new challenge and make a significant impact on our students' lives. You will be responsible for teaching History to students across various age groups, with a focus on delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History to GCSE and A-Level students
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Mentor and support colleagues in the History department
  • Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and assessment strategies

Requirements:

  • Degree in History or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience of teaching History in a secondary setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:
