Job Title: Talent Management Specialist

Location: Swansea

Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Management Specialist to join our team at Hays Human Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a talent management strategy that supports the development of our staff and drives business growth.

  • Design and implement a talent management plan that aligns with our business objectives and enhances our competitive edge.
  • Lead the development of our staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Ensure all HR processes and procedures are compliant with current legislation and best practice.
  • Manage the recruitment process, developing job descriptions and person specifications, and ensuring all hiring practices are fair and compliant.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, absence management, flexible working, and talent development.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including creating offer letters and contracts, onboarding new employees, conducting Right to Work checks, reference letters, probation reviews, and offboarding paperwork.
  • Work closely with managers to resolve conduct or performance issues.
  • Coordinate our annual employee engagement survey.
  • Lead key projects as required.
  • Supervise a HR Assistant and provide guidance and support as needed.
