This role will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team, diagnosing and assessing patient care, and implementing programmes of care tailored to the needs of each individual.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical triage of service users who access Mental Health Services during pregnancy and in the first year post-partum. They will work collaboratively with service users and their carers, informed by the wider multidisciplinary team involved with the woman during the perinatal period. Key responsibilities include independently diagnosing, assessing, planning, and implementing patient-specific programmes of care/interventions, as well as providing support and guidance to other healthcare professionals within the trust.
What You Will Do:
As a Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Independently diagnosing, assessing, planning, and implementing patient-specific programmes of care/interventions.
- Clinical triage of service users who access Mental Health Services during pregnancy and in the first year post-partum.
- Collaborative assessments with service users and their carers, informed by the wider multidisciplinary team involved with the woman during the perinatal period.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and training opportunities.
