Job Title: Plastering Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)Location: Newmarket

We are seeking a skilled Trainer to join our team. As a Plastering Skills Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing learners working towards a vocational qualification in Plastering.

Duties:
  • Deliver Expertise: Teach and assess learners in Plastering skills and knowledge, utilising your expertise to provide high-quality training experiences.
  • Cultivate Progression: Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet individual learner needs, ensuring learners progress effectively towards their qualifications.
  • Foster Engagement: Ensure engaging and motivating sessions that develop learners' skills, knowledge, and behaviours, embedding Maths and English into Plastering sessions where relevant.
  • Maintain Progress: Monitor student attendance and progress through regular assessments and reviews, providing guidance on decision-making and progression to learners.
Requirements:
  • A recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Solid occupational experience in Plastering.
  • A minimum level 2 qualification in Plastering.
  • Experience in delivering training or workshops to groups of learners or providing on-the-job training.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: Confidence and professionalism with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals, possessing strong organisational and time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
