This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Instructor to join our team as a Plastering Skills Tutor. The role involves teaching and assessing learners working towards a vocational qualification in Plastering, utilising your expertise to provide high-quality training experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Assessment: Deliver expert instruction to learners, teaching and assessing them in Plastering skills and knowledge.
- Learner Support: Provide one-to-one support to learners, adapting your delivery to meet individual needs and overcome barriers to learning.
- Session Planning: Create engaging and motivating sessions, embedding Maths and English into Plastering sessions where relevant.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor learner progress, maintaining accurate records and providing guidance on decision-making and progression.
- A recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
- Solid occupational experience in Plastering.
- A minimum level 2 qualification in Plastering.
- Experience in delivering training or workshops to groups of learners or providing on-the-job training.
- GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
- Professional Attributes: Possess confidence and professionalism, inspiring and motivating individuals, with strong organisational and time management skills.
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
