About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our Not for Profit team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our clients in the charity, education, and social housing sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients in the Not for Profit sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of our Not for Profit sector strategy.

Requirements
  • ACA or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in audit leadership, preferably in the Not for Profit sector.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
