About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our Not for Profit team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our clients in the charity, education, and social housing sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients in the Not for Profit sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the development of our Not for Profit team's strategy and growth plans.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing audit teams and delivering high-quality audit services.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Experience of systems and controls testing, substantive auditing, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
