We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our Not for Profit team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our clients in the charity, education, and social housing sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients in the Not for Profit sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Contribute to the development of our Not for Profit team's strategy and growth plans.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Proven experience in managing audit teams and delivering high-quality audit services.
- Strong knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
- Experience of systems and controls testing, substantive auditing, and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
