Internal Claims Auditor Role
We're seeking a skilled Internal Claims Auditor to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our risk management team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our claims processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of internal claims processes, new initiatives, best practices, and the impact of inefficient processes on customer service, leakage, and fraud.
- Conduct robust, risk-based audits across these areas to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for indemnity savings and implement measures to deliver financial benefits.
- Manage root cause analysis for all complaints, including FOS, and recommend improvements to reduce complaints and increase renewal retention.
- Effectively identify, manage, and report risk within your area of responsibility, enhancing the risk management culture within your team.
Requirements:
- Claims experience and sound knowledge across multiple areas, such as Customer Journey, FNOL, Own Damage, Total Loss, Intervention, Recovery, Third Party Liability, Credit Hire, Bodily Injury, and Household Claims.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret MI and identify areas of risk and opportunity.
