Planning and Development Specialist

The role of a Senior Planning Consultant in our Cardiff office involves working on energy and infrastructure projects, requiring strong knowledge of the UK planning system and government regulations. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing your own workload, drafting reports, and assisting with business development activities.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in planning for energy and infrastructure projects, including EIA coordination. Your tasks will include multi-tasking across various projects, writing reports, and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues. A willingness to mentor junior colleagues is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage your own workload and assist senior team members
• Draft reports and planning submissions
• Coordinate EIA processes
• Assist with business development activities
• Mentor junior colleagues
Requirements:
• MRTPI or PIEMA qualification (with relevant planning experience)
• Strong knowledge of UK planning systems and government regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
