About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Properties Manager to oversee the Facilities Management of our Adults Specialist Services Division properties.

This full-time position requires a forward-thinking individual to join our strategic Estates Team, delivering an efficient and proactive property management service across 20 sites varying from smaller domestic-type properties to larger sites with multiple buildings.

The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, aligning site and operating requirements with budget, communicating on planned and reactive works, and working with external suppliers/contractors as necessary.

Assisting the Divisional Facilities Manager and the Director of Facilities Management, you will be responsible for managing Capex & R&M budgets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

About You
  • You should have a relevant estates management background, appropriate academic qualification to degree level or equivalent professional qualification, and experience of liaising, instructing, and managing external contractors and professionals.
  • A proven track record of achieving agreed financial targets, analysing building defects, and specifying required repairs is essential.
  • You must also have evidence of managing and delivering projects from inception to completion, including managing contractors.
  • An analytical mind, methodical approach, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel are crucial skills for this role.
  • Additionally, you should have good prioritisation skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and flexibility to travel across the location, staying overnight when needed.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a company car and enhanced DBS check.
