About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our client's team.

This role involves working on a Residential scheme in South West London, managing all document control and administrative duties for the Technical Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all document control and administrative tasks for the Technical Department.
  • Provide backup support to Technical Managers on job running.
  • Review and process Consultants' and Contractors' drawings and technical submissions.
  • Issue drawings and information for construction purposes, adhering to established protocols.
  • Ensure timely processing of enquiries and applications with statutory service companies and local authorities.
  • Liaise with Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors for information exchange.
  • Collaborate with the department to maintain updated processes regarding Building Regulations and other Statutory Bodies.
  • Prepare conveyance plans and check brochure plans for accuracy.
  • Facilitate internal liaison with Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Sales teams.
  • Develop and monitor technical specifications.
  • Publish specific site documentation and Q&A Sales/Legal notes in preparation for Sales launch information.
  • Obtain necessary postal addresses for each development.
  • Assist in resolving Party Wall Awards and other third-party legal matters by providing relevant information.
  • Support in appointing and selecting an EDMS Consultant.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record as a Document Controller in the Construction sector.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with a Document Management System called Asite.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Effective project coordination skills, including multitasking and administrative support.

The estimated salary range for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Total Annual Salary Package: £50,750 (approximate), taking into account the average salary range and location.
