**SEND Teaching Assistant Required for South Liverpool School

We are proud to be working with a dedicated and nurturing SEND school in South Liverpool, who are seeking a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with visual impairments and other complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one and small group support tailored to student's individual learning and personal development needs. You will assist with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

You will work closely with teachers and therapists to implement tailored education plans. This may involve assisting students in developing essential life skills and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with visual impairments and other complex needs.
  2. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent). Experience working with children with visual impairments and other complex needs is essential.

Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
