About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Sense. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to individuals with complex disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the manager in running the service, ensuring that all aspects of service delivery are met.
  • Provide line management support to a team of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain safe working environments, ensuring that all staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver services effectively.
  • Contribute to the wider planning and delivery of services within the Operational Services, working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Conduct regular supervisions, providing feedback and coaching to staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Plan and manage the rota, ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Deliver services to KPIs set within the Operational Services, working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning and health and safety, with experience of supervision and development of staff teams.
  • IT literate with a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable).
  • Full UK Manual license is essential.
  • Previous experience in the management of services and understanding of the legislation and requirements that governs us from CQC.
  • Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties is beneficial.
