Sterile Services Team Manager

About the Role
Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Services Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Sterile Services department, you will be responsible for providing a first-class decontamination and sterilization service to hospitals, endoscopy units, and other healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and supervision within the Sterile Services department, ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to provide a high-quality service.
- Assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilization, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to customers.
- Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, staff, and other departments.
- Ensure that all processes are followed as directed by the Decontamination Manager and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Work variable hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, to meet the needs of the department and customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sterile services or decontamination role, preferably in a hospital or endoscopy unit setting.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and staff at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization procedures and protocols.
