Job Role: Teaching Assistant

CER Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in a mainstream primary school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and have a passion for supporting students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in Nursery and Reception classes, as well as Key Stage 1
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as well as provide one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Engage with children and promote positive behavior, while also being able to challenge negative behavior when necessary
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
  • Qualification in Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to work effectively with students who have additional SEND needs
