About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at the Earlham Institute, located in Norwich, UK. The successful candidate will investigate the implications of ploidy variation on gene and transcript expression during cellular differentiation in both in-vitro and in-vivo models.

The role involves developing computational pipelines to reproducibly handle single-cell data (genome, transcriptome, epigenome) for integration and interpretation. You will work closely with groups across EI and external collaborators, leveraging cutting-edge high-performance computing facilities and expertise.

As a member of our active community of experimental and computational biologists, you will have opportunities to contribute to other projects and develop single-cell genomic approaches at EI. We encourage applications from candidates with a PhD in bioinformatics, computational genomics or a related subject, and experience working with genomic/epigenomic/transcriptomic data.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary within the range £36,720 to £39,750 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post for a contract of 24 months.
