Hostess Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Hostess to join our team at Revo Recruitment Limited. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Seating: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their table, and provide menus.
  • Reservation Management: Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
  • Communication: Answer telephone inquiries, manage the reservation system, and handle customer queries with professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the floor team to ensure a seamless guest experience from entry to exit.
  • Host Station Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, ensuring a polished reception area.
  • Waiting List Management: Assist in managing the waiting list during peak times and keep guests informed of their table status.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Hostess in a fine-dining or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in managing seating arrangements and reservations.
  • Customer Service: Ability to handle customer complaints and provide solutions diplomatically.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
