Hostess Needed for New Restaurant Opening


We are excited to announce the grand opening of our brand-new restaurant and are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ** Hostess ** to join our team


The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. The role involves managing reservations, seating guests, and supporting the floor team during service. This position requires a polished and professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Location: Movela House, Colnbrook bypass, SL3 0EH

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their table, and provide menus.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
  • Answer telephone inquiries, manage the reservation system, and handle customer queries with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the floor team to ensure a seamless guest experience from entry to exit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, ensuring a polished reception area.
  • Assist in managing the waiting list during peak times and keep guests informed of their table status.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Hostess in a fine-dining or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in managing seating arrangements and reservations.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and provide solutions diplomatically.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
