As a Sales Development Executive at Despatch Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads through outbound activity and converting them into sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers via telephone to introduce Despatch Cloud's products and services, identify their needs, and qualify them as sales opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Despatch Cloud's solutions to prospects, highlighting key features and benefits that address their specific pain points and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, understanding their business objectives and challenges to position Despatch Cloud as a trusted partner in their e-commerce journey.
  • Utilise persuasive sales techniques to overcome objections, negotiate terms, and close deals that meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects, update CRM systems with relevant information, and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategise and optimise sales approaches, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the sales organisation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology or e-commerce industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a persuasive and confident phone manner.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and drive sales conversations to a successful conclusion.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities.
