Site Operations Manager

Gordon Leak Associates Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversee the safe delivery of projects involving the installation of energy efficiency measures, including External Wall Insulation, Loft & Cavity Wall Insulation, Heat Pumps, and Solar panel installations to eligible homes.
- Provide Health and Safety leadership to the site delivery team, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe manner and do not cause risk to installers, occupants, and the general public.
- Liaise closely with the Operational Support Team to ensure works are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and in a compliant way to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
- Deliver projects to programme as set by the senior management team.
- Liaise closely with occupants and homeowners to ensure they are kept fully informed of progress and any matters which may arise during installation of the works.
- Provide a responsive and reliable point of contact to resolve matters which may arise and are reported by the occupant/homeowner.
- Ensure suppliers, sub-contractors, and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Installation standards.
- Ensure works cause minimal disruption for occupants and homeowners and ensure areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Carry out toolbox talks, daily activity briefings with sub-contractors and direct workforce as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of works done and in progress and share this with the Operational Support team on a regular basis.
- Liaise with the Operational Support team to order general materials as required to complete the project.
- Ensure works are carried out to a high standard, complying with relevant industry and system manufacturers' standards, completed, snagged, and defect-free.
- Lead the on-site team to deliver the company's management expectations successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting individuals and teams to meet and exceed business performance targets.
- Proven and demonstrable experience in the role of a supervisor/site manager.
- Experience of working in occupied buildings/homes.
- Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations.
- SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid (preferred).
- Competent user of IT software packages, including MS Office or similar tablet-based quality assurance software (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organisational ability along with time management skills to drive and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service, demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness, and flexibility.
- Adept at working in a team and providing leadership/support to fellow team members.
