Process Operative Job Description

Our client, a leading producer of high-quality pet foods, is seeking a skilled Process Operative to join their team in North Scarle, Lincoln. This exciting opportunity involves working a rotating shift pattern, including days and night shifts, to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a mill, loading bulk ingredients via forklift and hand-added ingredients for grinding and transfer to extrusion, while conducting technical checks and recording.
  • Run the extruder, dryer, coater, cooler, and bulk storage, performing necessary technical checks and recording.
  • Capture, segregate, and transfer waste for rework.
  • Maintain a clean working environment, adhering to site cleaning protocols.

Requirements:

  • Background in manufacturing, preferably in food or FMCG.
  • Availability to start work as soon as possible.
  • Ability to train for forklift operation.
  • Own transportation due to the remote location.
