About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Proud to Care Devon. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

You will work closely with our care team to deliver exceptional care, manage medication administration, and maintain accurate care records. Your excellent communication skills and ability to lead by example will be essential in motivating and supporting our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Manage medication administration and maintain accurate care records
  • Work closely with GPs and District Nurses to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Contribute to the development of our care team through training and development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care leadership role, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting older adults
  • Knowledge of care standards and regulations
