Care Team Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our established team at Lifeways Group. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in the leadership and day-to-day management of our service, working closely with our Service Manager to ensure the delivery of excellent person-centred care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with learning difficulties, autism, and other needs.
  • Recruit and develop support workers through staff supervisions, candidate interviews, and providing guidance and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, individuals we support, and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Manage manual handling requirements and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals we support.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker with an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Good written communication and IT skills for record keeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
