Role Overview

Vermelo RPO is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our pricing models.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general insurance pricing and be familiar with tools such as SAS, Python, RStudio, SQL, Emblem, and Radar.

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will use your advanced analytical skills to:

  • Conduct retail price optimisation analysis and modelling
  • Develop customer propensity and Life Time Value (LTV) models
  • Create innovative data solutions to mine insight and present data
  • Build and maintain sophisticated models, prioritising a range of data science techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve process efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in pricing and data analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain pricing models and strategies to drive business growth
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise business needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and data scientists
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in pricing and data analysis

Requirements:

  • Experience in general insurance pricing and data analysis
  • Familiarity with tools such as SAS, Python, RStudio, SQL, Emblem, and Radar
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
