The demand for high-quality real-world evidence (RWE) and health outcomes (HO) research continues to increase, driving the need for innovative approaches to support drug development, access decisions, and clinical decision making. Our Value, Evidence, and Outcomes (VEO) International medical affairs team is at the forefront of this effort, accelerating equitable patient access and transforming healthcare delivery through bold, high-impact science.
Join Our TeamWe are seeking a talented and experienced VEO International medical affairs scientist to provide strategic insight and leadership into RWE for our cardiometabolic health portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of RWE and health outcomes disciplines, therapeutic area knowledge of cardiometabolic health, and geographic market knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Apply disease state knowledge and research methods to generate RWE/HO evidence for registration, pricing, reimbursement, access, and other external stakeholders.
- Effectively lead RWE/HO evidence planning and implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate RWE/HO information to internal business partners, the scientific community, and customers.
- Maintain awareness of significant developments in disease states and RWE methodologies.
- Ensure RWE projects meet timelines, budget, and scope by coordinating research efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Doctorate (PhD, MD) OR PharmD/MS degree with significant experience in creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects.
- Strong comprehension and communication skills, including the ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information.
- Understanding of health care systems in at least one of Europe and/or Asia.
- Understanding of and experience with health care delivery models and clinical research.
- Technical and analytic capabilities across real world evidence, patient-focused outcomes, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, and health care policy.
- Creative thinking and ability to lead the generation of innovative approaches to real-world evidence.
- Location flexibility in desired geography (Europe).
- Domestic and international travel may be necessary.
