As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessments and short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical assessments for young people up to the age of 18 years, presenting with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Offer training, consultation, and supervision to external agencies regarding the mental health presentation of children and young people accessing the MHST.
- Actively promote the whole-school approach to developing and maintaining emotional health and well-being within schools.
- Provide leadership to the MHST and deputise leadership as required.
- Liaise and work jointly with the Getting Help/MHST and locality Early Help Hub and specialist CAMHS services.
- Use routine outcome measures to promote active participation from young people and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide training to professionals and supervision as appropriate to the role.
