This Child and Family Development Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to work within the newly integrated 0-19 Children's and Young People Public Health Service. The successful candidate will contribute to the safe and effective delivery of the service, promoting children's physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
The post holder will work alongside a wider team to identify health, social or developmental concerns at the earliest opportunity and contribute to the aim for all children to have the best possible start in life. This will involve working with children 0-8 years and implementing and evaluating episodes/packages of care according to individual needs.
About the Role- Contribute to the delivery of the 0-19 service, promoting children's health and wellbeing
- Work with children 0-8 years, identifying and addressing health and developmental concerns
- Implement and evaluate episodes/packages of care, tailored to individual needs
- NNEB OR NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education OR BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development OR NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Demonstrate experience of working with children and families
We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you can expect a range of benefits including annual leave, access to learning and development opportunities, and support for your career progression.
