Head of Algorithm Development

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Seeker team in the development of complex algorithms and subsystem models. As Head of Management Training, you will be responsible for driving innovation, improving agile methods, and leading the technical development of the Seeker performance on cutting-edge hardware.
You will work closely with our team to bridge gaps between different specialist skill groups, deliver coherent and complete performance models, and manage stakeholders to deputise for senior leadership and represent the overall Seeker team when required.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement algorithms and modelling frameworks to produce software and predict Seeker performance.
- Lead the technical development of the Seeker performance on cutting-edge hardware.
- Bridge gaps between different specialist skill groups to deliver coherent and complete performance models.
- Manage stakeholders to deputise for senior leadership and represent the overall Seeker team when required.
- Develop and implement process improvements, auto-coding firmware, and prepare for the use of machine learning / AI.
- Company Bonus: Up to 21% of base salary
- Pension: Maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%
