Key Responsibilities- Manage School Data Systems: Oversee the daily management and maintenance of the school's Management Information System (MIS) to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Data Integrity and Security: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all student and school data, maintaining compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare, analyse, and interpret data reports to support senior leadership in decision-making, providing valuable insights to inform school improvement strategies.
- Data Management and Compliance: Manage the collection, input, and processing of data for statutory returns (e.g., School Census), ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Staff Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on data systems and usage, ensuring effective use of data to inform teaching and learning.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with school leadership to develop data-driven strategies for school improvement, maintaining effective communication with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in Education: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is essential.
- Management Information Systems: Strong knowledge of Management Information Systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, etc.).
- Analytical and Technical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, proficient in using Excel and other data management tools.
- Communication and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
