Job Title: Band 7 Head Occupational Therapist - ASD Residential

Description:
Cygnet's Learning Disability Other (ASD Residential) Service Line is seeking an exceptional Band 7 Head Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a leader in occupational therapy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based practice and occupational therapy pathways. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and services to individuals with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice and occupational therapy pathways.
  • Lead a team of Occupational Therapists and OT support staff to deliver high-quality care and services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including families, carers, and other professionals.

Your Skills:
We are looking for someone who has:
  • A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy (e.g., BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
