Job Title: Accommodation Support Manager

This role requires a dedicated professional to manage a team of staff working with customers facing housing challenges, providing expert advice and support to prevent homelessness and address accommodation needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized service to customers, crafting tailored housing plans and providing written guidance on legislative frameworks.
  • Promote collaborative relationships with external agencies and accommodation providers, securing optimal outcomes and working in partnership to meet customer needs.
  • Spearhead service delivery and best practices, ensuring consistent approaches, adhering to policies, and providing updates to teams and managers while considering financial and safeguarding implications.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
  • Proven experience in customer service and housing advice, including managing complex cases and developing bespoke housing plans.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, demonstrated through effective collaboration with providers, partners, and agencies to secure positive housing outcomes for residents.
  • Experience in collaborating with multi-agency teams and adherence to policies related to safeguarding, health and safety, and equality.
