We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Neuropsychology Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist clinical neuropsychological services to clients with complex neurological and other medical needs.
Key Responsibilities- Providing specialist clinical neuropsychological assessments and treatments to clients with complex neurological and other medical needs.
- Leading research projects and/or service evaluations and audits to improve the quality of care and services provided.
- Teaching, training, and supervising other staff members to develop their skills and knowledge in clinical neuropsychology.
- Working closely with other professionals to develop and implement strategies and clinical policies in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency contexts.
- Providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups on psychological aspects of patient care.
- Developing and maintaining statistical systems to monitor service delivery and performance.
- Producing regular reports that involve manipulating and analyzing data.
- Leading on project work, including specific areas of audit, research, or service evaluation.
- Ensuring all clinical care and treatment provided by psychologists is carried out under appropriate supervision and leadership.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies, and issues in relation to both the specific client group and mental health.
- Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent qualifications as assessed by the HCPC).
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology as accredited by the BPS (or equivalent, e.g., grandparent status).
- Entry on the BPS Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology.
- BPS RAPPS eligible supervisor and registered QiCN Supervisor (or a willingness to achieve this within an agreed timeframe).
