Social Services Specialist

Hampshire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our social work team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality social services to adults leaving hospital. Your main responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, managing complex caseloads, and providing supervision and practice advice to colleagues.
To succeed in this role, you will need a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England (SWE). You should also have a sound understanding of strengths-based approaches and knowledge of social work issues, legal frameworks, and statutory duties. Additionally, you will commit to demonstrating our values and behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs.
- Manage complex caseloads, including supervision and practice advice.
- Triage safeguarding referrals and make informed decisions.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is £38,690 - £48,816, based on the job requirements, location, and industry standards in the UK.
