Sirona care & health CIC, England's largest provider of Adult's and Children's Community Services, offers an exciting opportunity for a Dermatology Nurse Specialist Lead to join our team in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Nurse Specialist to lead our Community Dermatology Team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to patients with skin conditions, while also contributing to the development and expansion of our service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in dermatology nursing, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and families.

You will be responsible for providing specialist dermatology nursing care, working independently and collaboratively with the BNSSG Dermatology Team, and contributing to setting standards of care and auditing clinical outcomes and service provision.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist dermatology nursing care in various settings, undertaking holistic assessments and following guidelines and protocols.
  • Deliver nursing management of dermatological conditions, working in partnership with other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Contribute to setting standards of care and auditing clinical outcomes and service provision across the organization.
  • Maintain effective communication and feedback to the original referrer, ensuring effective delivery of service and adherence to all policies of Sirona care & health.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse qualification.
  • Demonstrated on-going training and professional development.
  • Awareness of developments of dermatology services in primary care nationally and locally.
  • Previous experience in dermatology or evidence of real interest in this area of nursing.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,590 - £60,391 per annum, depending on experience, plus Agenda for Change benefits, including 27+ days' annual leave and participation in the NHS Pension Scheme.
