Head of Build and Engineering

Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for a Principal Engineer - Site Engineering to be engaged on a permanent basis with flexible hybrid working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the engineering governance and assurance of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE), Calibration, and Emergency Response Infrastructure and Systems.
- Provide front-line engineering response for the aforementioned systems.
- Deliver Site Asset Management Processes to ensure a fit-for-purpose asset base across the site.
- Produce and validate engineering assessments to ensure equipment can achieve its required safety function.
- Respond to emerging engineering issues and deliver solutions.
- Manage the configuration baseline, ensuring an effective maintenance strategy, and carrying out engineering health assessments.
Essential:
- Degree qualified in a STEM subject or equivalent experience within Engineering.
- Working and leading multi-discipline areas.
- Experience with Asset Management and Facilities Management.
- Experience with systems including but not limited to Design, Operation, and/or Modifications.
Desirable:
- Exposure within the Nuclear industry and ionizing radiation.
- Understanding of asset management principles.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team tasked with general oversight and assurance of the systems.
